Related to my last post
After I posted my previous entry, I read Jeff Frey’s response to one of Mark Little’s messages. Jeff’s message confirms my last post’s assertion about the tight-coupling of a resource’s state, its identity, and an interface. According to Jeff, they…

A brief thought on WS-RF
My friend Jim from “down under” told me today over messenger that my blog is “more of a social diary than a blog”. So, here’s a thought on WS-RF with which I think he will agree… I think from now…

Mark Baker agrees
I should have added to my previous post that Mark agrees with the approach of building distributed applications around the concept of resources (identity+interface+state)… but that’s to be expected given Mark’s view on REST.

Mark Baker on the WS-Resource spec
Although Marksees it from a REST point of view, I agree with him about the coupling of identity plus interface plus state. They are re-inventing distributed objects.
