There’s a unique energy that comes with starting something new — a blend of excitement, uncertainty, and boundless creativity.

For me, that energy has taken the shape of a new company: CVOYA.

The name is inspired by “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage,” the documentary by Carl Sagan that deeply influenced me during my teenage years. In the first episode, Sagan — with his distinctive, awe-inspiring voice — says “We are about to begin a journey to the Cosmos,” as the ocean stretches behind him. “Cvoya” draws from that moment: the “c” evokes the sea, and “voya” the voyage — a tribute to exploration, discovery, the cosmos, and the vast unknowns that compel us to push boundaries.
Today, CVOYA, LLC is a reality. It marks the next step in my personal journey through AI-powered companions, technology, and innovation in service of humans. I formed the company to explore ideas around AI-powered assistance, combined with a memory system managed by AI agents — one that prioritizes provable privacy and trustworthiness.
The name “CVOYA” won’t be visible to end users 🙂 It’s simply the formal entity that will help me explore and productize the ideas and technologies I’ve been experimenting with over the last few months. It will also help me bring in partners/collaborators with whom I can pursue CVOYA’s vision.
Every founder talks about the “thrill” of starting up. But for me, the thrill is really about possibility — that moment when an idea stops living in your head and starts finding its place in the world.
And for everything that I build for the world, I aspire to adhere to the sentiment in Max Stossel‘s words:
Build digital tools so advanced, they can actually enhance the world outside the device in our hands.
[…] add SO much value that it let’s us put our phones back in our pants as fast as we possibly can.
Not time-sucking, time-GIVING innovation.
That’s what it means to be truly technologically advanced.
The future is NOT all screens.
It’s humanity enhanced.
Imagine a future where technology is built on our values, not our screen time.
So here we are.
The ship is built.
The compass is set.
The stars are above us.
And the voyage begins.
