As of today I am a permanent resident of the US. That was fast! (Around 10 months since I came to the US and around 8 I think since the green card process started) No more long queues when I re-enter the US (I hope:-)

Congrats! I really envy the fast turnaround on your case since my application has been floating with INS/USCIS for two years now and still no card (did you know it is not even green?).
Anyways, my approval should be around the corner too, so I am not too jealous 🙂
I’ve been a big fan of your blog. Congratulation for getting your green card. I have moved on from my position at the London e-Science Centre to JPMorgan Chase working on message-oriented system. I’ve recently been given the opportunity to work in New York for a year but I couldn’get a company transfer VISA because I haven’t been in the company for more than a year. Too bad. I just have to wait.
Hey William, nice to hear from you again. Good luck with your new endeavors.
