Just booked my flight for a 2 1/2 week trip to explore the Maya civilization. I am flying to Cancun (no, I am not going to stay to any of the holiday resorts). I am going to immediately hit the road and travel around the Yucat n peninsula. The rough plan includes Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. I am going to be staying/camping at the various reserves (or in the car 🙂 and, depending on the weather, I am hoping for some good diving as well. Should be fun!
