Microsoft relay and security token services

I was not aware of the Microsoft Live relay and security token services. They look very interesting and they are WS-based so theoretically they should be useable through any platform. I am currently having problems accessing them since I am on a post-beta 2 build of Vista and WinFX but will investigate further and report back.
