A new place to live

I’ve been spending the last couple of days searching for an apartment to live. I wanted to find something in the heart of Belltown but everything seemed so expensive. At the end I found a nice large studio on the top floor of Fountain Court. Its price was higher than an 1 bedroom apartment in the same building but I think the larger living space is going to be worth it. In general, it was cheaper than most places I checked in the area, although I will have to see for few months whether I can afford even this one. Next tasks… furniture and setting up the high speed internet connection (I don’t think I’ll even bother with cable TV). After that, the moving-to-Seattle adventure will be replaced by the making-the-best-of-Seattle-life one 🙂

So, if you are around Seattle, you are more than welcome to stay at my place. I’ll probably have my first visitors already in the next couple of weeks (SuperComputing is just around the corner and the usual GGF suspects and fellow drinkers are going to be around… well, I am sure of at least one who is going to be around 🙂 1 1/2 months here and still excited! 🙂
