WS-RX as an example for WS-TXs

As I am catching up with blogs and industry news, I saw the announcement by OASIS that the new TC being formed (WS-RX) will result in a single story in the WS reliable-messaging space, effectively resulting in merge of the competing reliable-messaging specifications. This is great news. There is lots of commentary in technology news sites and blogs; I don’t have anything to add apart from this thought…

Could this be an indication of things yet to come for the coordination/transactions space? MS & IBM will probably submit WS-AT/BA to a standards body at some point. If that standards body is OASIS, then I hope we will see a similar effort for a single Coordination/TXs story for Web Services. Wouldn’t that be just great?
