The first few changes to pblog and my blogging tools

Next month it’s going to be one year since I started blogging. All this time, pblog has been servicing my feeds and supporting the weblog version of my blog. I have been using Newsgator to follow other people’s blogs and the plugin that comes with it in order to post to pblog. However, as great Newsgator is, it can’t deal with images when posting. It’s one of the features requested for the next version but I’ve decided that I don’t want to wait anymore. Not to mention the fact that the XHTML produced was not really XHTML.

So, I decided that it was time for a change. This post is written in InfoPath. I have moved pblog to .NET 2.0 and the database to SQL Server 2005 (beta versions for both). My posts should be closer to XHTML now but most importantly I can now post pictures :-).

More changes are on the way.
